First Post of 2011!

First post of 2011, and it only took me 8 months or so!

So to follow up on my previous update,I'm still using GoDaddy, but I'm down to just GamePwned.com and mrgreggie.com. Their Domains By Proxy service is still rough to say the least, but they are cheap and otherwise realiable.

Thanks to HP killing WebOS, I am finally moving on to Android. I should have a long time ago, but the interface in WebOS is still by far the best around. I'll miss you trusty Plam Pixi Plus. Well, until my Droid Charge arrive at least! I never really got into hacking/flashing the Pixi, even the ringtone was the default. Hopefully my shiny new Droid changes that.

I've also gotten around to giving my mrgreggie.com page a quick update. I've removed noobs with guns (silly PS3 clan blog) and updated the forums I'm active on. As you'll notice, I have already joined Android Central and expect to be very active there shortly.

And speaking of being active online, I've lost count of how many times I've decided to focus on being more engaged online and failing. I will try again...

Super short version...
GoDaddy offers a free year of Domains By Proxy private domain name registration when you sign up. A year later they force you to pay for it when you renew with no option to cancel. To remove it, you have to log into a separate account. If you don't have the login info to that account and a different email address when you register, then you are screwed. They have procedures to recover it, but in my particular situation it's near impossible. I have my GoDaddy login info, I'm the owner, and I emailed over everything they asked for including my ID. Domains By Proxy is completly owned and operated by GoDaddy, they even share phone numbers.

Summary... They suck, and I cannot wait to sort this mess out and get my domains moved off of their service.
